Trouble with my JBL PSW D112 Subwoofer (1 Viewer)

As I posted before I am having probles with my JBL PSW D112 sub. I have checked all connections. Are there any known common problems with these subs? Thanks for any help.

The only real known common problem is the amp going bad I think.

Is it still under warranty? Maybe you can get it fixed for free.

thanks guys. I wish I would have seen the reviews before hand. Anyways it is no longer under warranty, but it was working good for me for about 14 months. Looks like I am gonna be without a sub for a while (I have no money due to college). Should I even try and get it fixed by a local shop? Could I recover some of my money or would it cost too much to fix?
