Is it just me or has there been a surge of trolling on the HTF as of late?

I guess i have seen some difference of opinion. I have seen a lot of new people. Quite a few people i might assume are teens, that have nothing better to do than stir the pot, piss off people.

Well there was that guy Floyd or whoever, posting mostly in the hardware areas. He never made an upgrade that I would have chosen to afford, and the result was never less than outstanding and amazing.

I'm not going to name names, but some of the posts look like obvious attempts with a thread or two being closed recently. It just seems there have been more attempts than usual, that's all.

And there's no way I could be trolling, I love silica and salsa too much!

Has it been in specific areas, Clinton? I've not noticed an uptick in locked threads in AHL. The other areas I loiter in also seem safe from trollish talk.

I guess people should define what they mean by "trolling". To me, that doesn't qualify.

I agree. "Trolling" is usually defined as "trolling for flames" - posting something solely for the purpose of provoking others to an angry or outraged response. Arguing the relative merits of various Olympic sports doesn't strike me as qualifying. Although I suppose there could be some really milltant badmitten afficiandos out there who might disagree.
