That info sounds great, and so I hope to God that it is true.
However, when I tried to verify it I cannot find anything at all to give validation to the information. Nothing at Rhino's site (they still say "spring"), nothing at any of the online e-tailers I checked (like Amazon, for instance), and nothing at retail wholesaler Image Entertainment's site, which is pretty prompt in most every case.
You don't give any source info for this data, except a link to a DVD site I've never heard of before (it might just be new) called "DVD Toons". And there I see the exact same info - same format and everything - as you list here. But it's preceded by this:

We are a sub-site of Movierecords.com. Like most dvd websites, we get our info from press releases. If those are not available, then nothing beats giving them a call or emailing the right person(s) for the info or material.

COOL! I'll be all over it.

So, Anthony, do you run the site? I see an "Anthony" listed as the poster of much of the material there. That you?

Irregardless, welcome to the HTF! And thanks for your info.

ps: Dave, didn't I tell you the return was in April!!! [IMG]
    Edit:
I would love it if there was all the comercials for the original 1984 toys included with this season (then 1985 for S2 etc)
Hey Hasbro, how bout re-releasing the toys? [IMG] (for the 50th time from me)

Most excellent news! I nearly caved in and purchased that R2 Best Of Volume 1 disc but I'm so glad I didn't.

This should go well with the new TF comics as well. There's something in this month's previews about it, but it looks like it could be a quality book.

Count me in for wanting the toy commercials on there too. I can't see why anyone would object to including those.

It would be cool if they also included some of the old commercials that were played during the original show. I have some of the episodes on tape and oddly enough I find myself watching the commercials!! Especially the ones for my favortie toys at the time.

But I doubt that will every be included.

    Oh well...

    Cheers

That's the thing that mystified me about GI JOe: The Movie. They included commercials from the 60s of the original toys, and the "trailer" was for the original pilot movie, which they have yet to release, grrrr

But they also included the original Public service broadcasts. "And now we know, and knowing is half the battle"
    Love them. [IMG]

Here is a post I made a while ago where I suggested features for this set. It looks like some of those things I wanted will be included. I'm definately going to buy this when it comes out (if this info is accurate, of course).
