Transcoder schematic at Keohi (1 Viewer)

Hi ya all! I just found a schematic of tha VGA to YPrPb component converter at keohi.com site that it seems very easy to build, since I have a toshiba HD I need this to connect either a HTPC/DTC-100 to the colorstream inputs. I know I can buy a converter that they sell for about $129.00 on the net. but I would like to buid it my self as I need to build about 3 for my self and friends... do you guys know where I can get the Opamps the Jon Rhees is talking about..I went to radio shack and they didn't have it..I also emailed Jon but, I wasn't able to contact him..

I emailed Keohi about this a while back and this was their response:

...I don't know if the design truly works on not. This was a prelim design done a few years ago. It may be cheaper and safer to simply get the Audio Authority or the RCA transcoders since the prelim design has never been built or proven to really work.
