Toyota Camry- Any Problem Upping from 15" to 16" Rims? (1 Viewer)

I have a 2002 Camry, and I'm considering (depending on cost) going to 16" rims when I need new tires. I much prefer the look of the larger rims, and handling should also improve.

Some of the 2002 Camrys came with 16" rims, so I'm making an assumption that there should be no trouble with me changing over to that size.

But... I was wondering if anyone knows whether the 16" models might come from the factory with slightly different suspensions or wheel wells to accommodate the larger tires. I don't want to get stuck with rubbing tires or other issues.

Thanks for any thoughts...

You should be fine. Try to keep the overall tire height the same (by using a lower profile tire with the larger wheel size), as well, and speedo calibration won't be affected.
