Though I thought the movie was terribly hard to follow, I'd be inclined to buy the disc if it contained the footage that was cut out to to make a 5 hour TV series into a 2 and a half hour movie.

Touchstone, God please no! Universal is distributing the film theatrically, so I can only assume they'll be doing the DVD, which means A) We won't wait forever to get it B)It'll likely be a very slick disc and C)the likelihood of extras or additional footage increases dramatically.

Yup, I think this one's going to be a Universal release.
