First time posting. I am at COMPLETE projection NOOB. We had a 12 year old projector that we used at the house for the least 8 years. We really enjoyed it and are looking forward to stepping up our game a little bit in our new space. We are at the end of an850 ft2 addition and remodel. The plan is for a projection setup in the new living room. The main issue is that our room has lots of light. Some of that light can be controlled but only to a certain extent.
My main questions are:
1. Is it feasible to have a good projector setup in this space? Most of our movie watching and vegging out happens at night. So that is an advantage. But it is nice to have the opportunity to watch a ballgame during the day.
2. What would you recommend to make this happen? I am hoping to stay under $3000 for the entire set-up. Remember, we came from a 12 year old middle of the road Epsom and still enjoyed it. We DO NOT need mind blowing picture and sound. I have been looking at motorized floor rising ALR screens and Amazon has one for $1000.

I know I have a lot to learn that is why I am here. Here is a pic of our space. Screen in magenta, Seating is L shaped sectional in black. What says ye?

Oh I forgot to add. The projector will be above that window there. You can see where I had the electrician put in a plug.

Way too many windows for an adequate projector, in my opinion. With the price of large displays dropping dramatically, you might be better off with a QLED.

One thing you did not mention was sound, other than you do t need mind blowing sound.
