I was looking at a DVD player the other day and it indicated it had 2 toslinks. What is that?
DVD players have a digital output for the audio. Either a coaxial or an optical. (Sometimes/often both). Toslink is the type of connection used for the optical digital connection. It is recognizable by the reed beam of light visible in the center of the plug on the source component. A coaxial digital connection uses an RCA style plug. Hope that helps.
Correction. Red beam of light. Long live spell check.
