    Toshiba Portege 7140 CT

    Pentium III 500mhz

    256KB L2 Cache

192 MB memory (upgraded from 64mb)

30GB IBM TravelStar hard drive (Upgraded from 6GB)

13" Active Matrix LCD, 1024x768 native

Trident Cyber Blade e4-128 video card with 4mb ram (supports up to 1600x1200 on an external display)

    AccuPoint pointing device

    ESS Onboard audio

    2 PC Card slots

    Internal v.90/K56Flex modem

Onboard headphone, VGA Out, Infrared, USB & docking station ports.

External port replicator for Serial, Parallel, and PS2 Keyboard/Mouse ports.

    External 1.44MB Floppy drive

    AC Adapter

Currently running Windows 2000, but I can't transfer the license, so you'll have to provide an OS. The system boots and runs Linux perfectly, as well as all flavors of Windows (I've used Windows XP, Windows 2000 and Windows 98 on it)

The system is in excellent working condition. There are a few scuffs on the top of the laptop and the floppy drive. There are no bad pixels on the LCD, as far as I can tell.

    Dimensions: 11.7" W x 9.5" D x 1.1" H

    Weight (including .5lb battery): 4.4lbs

    $900
