Toshiba TV settings.... (1 Viewer)

Hi,
It would be great if someone can tell me what settings the following should be:

1. ALS ( on/off)
2. flesh tone (on/off)
3. cable clear DNR (auto/off)
4. SVM (on/off)
5. color temp ( cool/medium/warm)

I suggest investing in a video setup disk like Video Essentials or Avia. Once I calibrated with Avia, my 50HDX82's picture looked more lifelike and the colors looked more natural.

I'm at work right now but here are the settings I remember:

ALS = off
Flesh Tone = off
cable clear DNR = I think this is ON
SVM = no idea
Color Temp = medium

I believe AVIA breaks down each setting for you and gives you an explanation on what its purpose is.

Turn SVM off ... It's just more artificial enhancement that ruins the picture.
