    Hi,
Just wondering if entering the service menu of a set such as the 27AF42 leaves any evidence that you were in it? If you later had to have some warranty service, can they tell you were in the service menu and say "Warranty VOID!". :)

    Thanks,
    BrianGC

Which is why you should always write down everything beforehand. Actually, the AF series has fewer entries than many other sets I've seen so there's much less to keep track of.

they most certainly cant tell. but that being said make sure you know what you are adjusting before you adjust it, i ahve ehard of people having to work blindly cause they hit the wrong thing and lost all picture.

    John,

It's from the film "The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring" and is spoken by Boromir at the Council of Elrond.

The book excerpt reads: "By our valour the wild folk of the East are still restrained, and the terror of Morgul kept at bay; and thus alone are peace and freedom maintained in the lands behind us, bulwark of the West.

    Nice rewrite.

Brian, i also have a tosh and figured out how to get to the service menu. I have a pretty bad geometry problem. But im not game to touch a thing. Do you have a guide for what does what? If i had a really good guide of what to do to fix i would do it.

Paul, i have a Toshiba 32zd16G 76cm Widescreen CRT set and top, bottom, left and right sides are all skewed inwards. To get to the sevice menu i hold the mute and press the menu on the set but i have no idea what to go to.
