Anyone have any idea when the Toshiba SD-3800 is hitting the streets? This site appears to be selling it, but I'm guessing that they are jumping the gun:

Even the Toshiba site doesn't have a link to the player's product page yet on their site. I did hack around, however, and find the product page on their site...and it looks blank:

They do, however, have a five disk model already available:

Just curious. Thinking about upgrading my 1600 and I really like the quality of the Toshiba players. Also, anyone know if the new players will fix the Chroma bug?
    cheers,
    Steve

The availability report I got this morning says August. I have no information regarding features, chipset, etc.

I was just on the phone today with a Toshiba Rep complaining about the chroma bug. I gathered from him that they had no intention of changing from the Zoran chip currently in the 3750 4700 and 5700.

He said that I was one of only 3 or 4 people to complain about the bug
