    Hey Guys!

Gregg (the Toshiba MASTER) is coming to calibrate my Tosh TW40X81 on Saturday! (Woo Hoo!)

He highly recommends (as I knew he would...) removal of the protective screen. I have no doubt that this is an excellent recommendation, BUT...

I have a one year old who is fond of touching the TV screen. We are training her NOT to do this, but occasionally she relapses, and I end up with a little handprint that I have to clean off.

Is the inner screen "cleanable"? What's the worst case scenario if Gregg removes the screen -- is it extremely fragile?

Any of you guys have clever mods that you use to protect the TV when not in use?

I've used the search feature, and read most of the threads on screen removal.

Don't do it! The exposed lenticular screen has a fine ribbed pattern. One swipe of a hand covered in peanut butter, chocolate, baby food or any other such thing will make you instantly regret the removal.
