Toshiba Projectors? (1 Viewer)

I have an opportunity to purchase a brand new Toshiba TDP-T1 projector at a great savings. Is this projector worth getting for HT?
It's 1300 lumens, DLP (digital light processing, whatever that is). Digital Video Interface (DVI) and analog connectivity via an integrated M1-DA connector.
I have no idea about these things so any help would be appreciated.

Specs sound decent enough. I have not seent he unit though.

The big weakness of DLP (and LCD) projectors is that they don't do blacks well. Blacks are more like a dark grey on these machines. Also, the picture needs to be scaled to the machine's native resolution for the best picture.
