Just bought a new Toshiba 42HDX82 TV, connected a rca dtc100 receiver with triple lnb with good signal strength.I receive the HD channels but when i go to high def. the video goes wild, three colors that seem to be scrambled. I used the high def. cable that came with the receiver,(previous owner had it connected to a Mitsubishi TV and worked fine) which was a 5 wire red, green, blue, black, yellow connected to my color-stream HD inputs. i then tried a 3 wire cord with separate audio cables same poor results but did have audio now, beginning to think this receiver is not compatible with this TV. any help would appreicated. thanks in advance. Jeff

I'm going to move this to the Display Devices as this problem is a bit too advanced for the Basics area.

    Greetings

This STB outputs in RGB only. Not component video. The RGB output is also somewhat proprietary. You need an RGB to component transcoder to get a proper image.
