Anyone get a flyer in the mail pertaining to settlement of a class action lawsuit against Toshiba?

I did the other day, and had to think for a moment if I even owned a Tosh player (I did... a portable bought last year...no problem noted, but we don't use it much). Anyway, here is a web site with info:

    http://www.dvdnotice.com/

Appears that the short story is that if your player had trouble playing certain discs, that Tosh owes you a free firmware upgrade, or reimbursement if you had to pay for one previously, or a rebate coupon if you actually replaced an affected machine.

Kind of an interesting read, in that the problem description appears to been written be someone that seems to know what they are talking about regarding problems with disc playback, authoring, etc.

Well, since my player appears is fine, there is nothing inhere for me, but its worth a look if you have a Tosh player.
