My Toshiba 65H81 is wonderful. Yesterday I noticed in the lower right-hand corner of the screen what looks like small smudge marks, but they are not on the actual screen. When I move to the left or the right they disappear, but from one place on the couch I can see them as clear as day.

Any idea what they are?

Where they came from?

How I can get rid of them?

Thanks for the help,

Neil

It is probably either on your CRT lenses or on the mirror. When I got my 65H80, I had what looked like white-out smudges at several places on my mirror (a soft Tshirt and some distilled water took care of the problem).

Ive read also that the clamps that hold the lenses in place can cause darkening around the corners when at higher tensions....If you loosen the tension of the clamp (slightly) it should rid the dark spots....

Can someone expand on this since Im a little hazy on this. The last thing I want to do is misdirect information
