Toshiba 4:3 HDready sets w/ 16:9 mode (1 Viewer)

Was wondering, these 4:3 HD sets with 16:9 mode, when properly calibrated, do they show two sets of LBX bars when watching a 2.35:1 16:9 enhanced movie? (i.e. one set of "no data" bars, one set of bars from the DVD). Or is the black level matched between the two? Thanx.

Pete, those additional black bars would only show if the brightness control was not adjusted properly.
