I have limited space in my current apartment. I would like to know if it will damage the tv to set a Receiver, 400 disc CD changer and DVD player on top along with a center channel. I am not to worried about the DVD player but the receiver and CD player worry me. The receiver is a SOny DB-930 and the CD player had about 200 CDs in it.
    Thanks

There is very little flat space on top of the 42H81. I had to make a little wooden platform to support my center speaker on top of the TV. The owners manual suggests not putting anything on top of it. I would not recommed putting anything more than a modest center channel speaker on top of the TV.

Larry's right, the top of the 42H81 will accomodate no more than a very small center channel speaker, if that!
