Hi There,
I'm pursuing an undergraduate degree in Political Science at a Canadian institution, with plans to pursue my Masters degree in the same discipline. While i plan to apply to most all the Canadian M.A. programs, I would also entertain the notion of applying to a U.S. school....What schools have a high reputation so far as this specific degree and focus is concerned?

Other related questions

How long is the program at these schools?

Language Requirement? Stats?

Required Graduate School Scores?

Etc.

Thanks, any personal info or provided links would be considered extremely helpful. Have a great weekend!

You might want to look into the US News college report. Not sure if it lists the top by major but it's got a lot of good information on pretty much every good school in the US. Also, some really good websites for overall information are www.collegeboard.com (look for the college search thing) and the even better www.princetonreview.com (use the left-hand column to search for a college). I hope that can help.

Take any of these rankings with a grain of salt though. There are many many good schools. As Posten said, GWU and Georgetown are highly regarded schools, especially since washington DC can sometimes be a fairly political place :)
