Martin had pretty much told us this was happening...but isn't it great to have a DAY to go with it. :D
YAY, Paramount, YAY, Martin Blythe. I hope the sales reflect the feedback you got from us on these titles.
Better Off Dead and Top Secret are headed for my house for sure, probably Brain Candy too. I know several others waiting on Better Off Dead as well.

This is starting to sound like one sweet DVD! Top Secret! is one damn funny flick, and I for one will be thrilled to never watch it on cable again! :)

This is one we practically BEGGED for when Martin Blythe was still hanging out here (don't know if he still is). Can't wait myself.
I'd tell you MY biggest laugh, but it's a site gag involving a janitor's closet and just wouldn't be as funny if I described it. :)

Count me in for 3 purchases (Brain Candy, Better off Dead, and Top Secret!) as well on July 16th.

I'm sure I'll end up picking up Gung-Ho eventually as well, as it's one of the Ron Howard movies that I actually like.

Well, here's the cover art. It's...different.

Whoa! That's...pretty...weird.
Why not just the big yellow background with the one cow?
Just wondering: Is it realistic to expect a Police Squad! SE?? C'mon Paramount! Pretty please? ;)

I knew it. Paramount had to screw up the cover art.

I knew they'd use a picture of Val Kilmer. What's

with the "raining cows" dropping from the sky? It looks

like a scene from TWISTER. The font for the title is also

incredibly ugly. What was wrong with the red "rubber-stamp-on-secret-document" font of the original? It was perfect for the spy-theme elements of the movie.

Oh well...at least the cow is there.

Yes, the Yellow background would be way better. But, at least we get the movie in OAR with commentary and deleted scenes!

It looks like they are trying to get it to match the Rat Race cover or something. P. U. Oh well, I knew the VHS cover was too plain for a DVD release. This is one of the few times Paramount hasn't used the original art.

One of the national chains in my area has it on the shelves today. Unfortunately, they have it priced at $24.99! Crazy. I guess I'll have to wait for the actual release date. Darn.
