assume cost isn't an issue I'd pick the Denon 2900...if cost is an issue the Denon 1600

This ? is money related,at what price point? At$ 200 pioneer sacd/dvd-a,at $500 more choices,at 1k Denon 2900,above that there's a lot of good dvd players,its mostly personal preference.

Filip, there are all sorts of DVD players out there at all price points, from bargain-basement specials to high-end boutique units costing more than $10,000. Your question is too broad. State specifically what you're looking for in a player and at which price point, and tell us which models have thus far piqued your interest. JB
