To go beyond that into the Xbox Series X is a terrible 4K player. I’d say 70% of new 4K discs I try will not load until the brand new disc is cleaned. On my Panasonic, no issues at all, practically ever.

Received another copy of the man who wasn't there 3D, this time with a slipcover - same exact issue.
I had to turn off 3d on the Xbox to load the disc. Once at the menu screen I then pulled up Xbox settings and turned 3d back on. Then I was finally able to watch it in 3d.

It has to be an Xbox issue. Can't wait to get a dedicated 4k player

As far as the movie "the man who wasn't there" it was a silly, fun little movie. Some bad acting and what not, but some pretty funny moments too.

The 3d was great. The credits are way in your face. There were some good pop outs. But what I really appreciated was the subtle object placement that constantly gave a good sense of depth. It always felt like a 3d movie.

I'd probably buy most of those, though Dolittle and Sing 2 have already been released. As I recall, there was some issue with Sing 2 (I bought it but have not yet watched it). Wonder if they'll get a fixed version, as the other label didn't seem to be able to get a fixed master but just sold off their stock with an advisory note.

I'd also be in for a fixed version of The Grinch 3D.

This might be an indication of the next wave of Turbine 3D titles: https://x.com/turbinemedien/status/1813099822133703055

was translated to those titles:
1) Bumblebee 2) TMNT: Mutant Mayhem 3) Scream 6 4) Dr. Dolittle 5) Friday the 13th 3D 6) Sing 2 7) Mission: Impossible Fallout 8 ) Transformers: Rise of the Beasts 9) Migration

That's pretty wild. The Germans finishing what the Australians couldn't manage, eh? Main one missing off the top of my head is Alpha (but that was a Sony title, seems most of the rest are Paramount). I checked Turbine's website (both catalog and store) but had trouble finding any 3D titles there currently.

One thing I remember about German titles is there are often not English subtitles. I hope this won't be the case for these rarities.

Well, if a pirate 3D edition of Spielberg's JAWS (1975) was available, I'd buy it. Hey, Universal produced a theatrical edition of this that viewers thought was awesome, but they decided to ignore the home market, even by just throwing it into the big box set as a "bonus" supplement. I would feel no remorse for purchasing a decent boot. Sorry.

Bwana Devil was very good. 3D was great, the image quality was fantastic. The color in this really popped, so vibrant, and rich.

The story was enjoyable (a bit sad in the end) And I liked it better than The Ghost and the Darkness Which I assume was based on the same true life story.

The 3D Blu-ray is, typically for 3d Film Archives, outstanding (thanks, Team!)

The movie is....okay. But the lions are terrible. Their attacks on victims look like kittens playing with a ball of yarn.

Just received my DVD of Ben Stassen's 1998 short, "Encounter in the 3rd.Dimension".
Visuallly it's very inventive and quite funny but it's undermined by being in the horrible ColorCode anaglyph format which means a dark screen and muddy to non- existent colours. That said the 3D is pretty good, if a bit murky.
There's a 2D disc and a field-sequential 3D version included. I doubt the latter is of much use unless field sequential 3D makes a comeback.
Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, aka Cassandra Peterson is probably the main attraction.
