Finally saw TOOL live for the first time Monday night in Wilkes-Barre...Crowd wasn't the greatest, but Maynard and the boys were incredible. I just can't understand why people find it necessary to mosh to Tool. They are, at least in my opinion, really not that kind of band. But I digress. Maynard's scream of "Goodbye" from Eulogy loses nothing live. His refusal to play the conquering rock god by hanging to the back of the stage in the shadows is truly refreshing. Anyone who is a fan and hasn't seen them on this tour must find a way to! People are going to be talking about the amazing aural and visual Lateralus tour for years to come. This one is made for DVD.

I get to see Tool on October 23rd. Much to my disappointment, our tickets were not through Ticketmaster. Since they weren't, there was no presale. Boo-Hoo. I had to wait in line and the tickets I got were for seats. Oh, well. I guess that is really better anyway, since there are people who actually try to mosh at a concert with so many visuals anyhow. Yeah, I know. They aren't really soft, but slam dancing just doesn't cut it either. Enjoy the show.
