Found this link from the metaphilm site, and couldn't keep myself from sharing it. Yes, it's a highly politicized message, but as parodies go highly entertaining. Enjoy.

Well, that was depressing... sad, but true. Clever idea to get the message out though. [IMG]

Unfortunately it isn't funny, because the situation depicted is true. I expect this thread to get bombed because the message in the clip is overtly political.
We can thank good ol' Ronald McD for a lot of the farming practices going on today.

Oh really? I shouldn't have posted this? Sorry about that.

I just thought it was funny and wanted to share.

Should I edit out my first post then?

It was just an observation. Usually threads like these are too controversial here at HTF. But if it hasn't closed yet, who am I to say? You may be in the clear.

I just want to say that this is not true of all meat farms. I am an inspector for insurance companies, and find that not all places are as bas as what is depicted. Not saying they are all great, but like many things, this is one sided.

Brandon and Tony. . I'm in complete agreement.

I fail to find the humor in this one.

    Moopheus.
    that's funny.

the rest is more ridiculus than anything else. Ranks right up there with the boneless chicken farm stories.

frankly I think its good to find a chicken head in a box of chicken nuggets every now and then. At least you know the nuggets are made from real chickens.

Why should people be forced to spend money to care for an animal who's sole purpose is to be killed for food.

Just make sure there is no disease and the meat tastes good and they can keep doing whatever they want.

Did PETA make this? Who wants to eat grass clippings and cabbage the rest of your life? Not me. I don't like cruelty to animals but I'm not going to whine too much about a pig not getting to frolick in the daisies a few times before he turns into bacon.

I find more comedy in this than anything. Yes, the scenes depicted are sometimes real, but I'm sorry, a talking cow named Moopheus is too funny.
