Another one of my inane and useless polls:
When installing a new roll of toilet paper, do you mount it so that the sheets hang out the front or from the back ?

Well, it looks as if i'm going to have to once again be the rebel here, FROM THE BACK!
Also, doesn't it really piss you off when your starting a new roll, and you can't get the damn thing started!?!

When I first got married, this used to cause tension because I would mount it so it rolled off the front and my wife would put it the other way. Now whichever way it ends up is the way it stays.

My wife and I discussed this issue and... we really have no preference.
Actually, this is one of those small Obsessive-Compulsive things that humans do such as:
1. putting your pants on right foot first. I tried the left foot once and fell over.
2. Checking the locks once or twice.
3. Checking the oven once or twice.
4. Reading liscence plates.
5. tracing the lines on a woodgrain floor with your finger until the entire floor has been covered. Whoops, that is one those real OCDs that I have. JK.
All humans have a small OCD, just like the toilet paper thing. I just find this interested.
sorry.

If my memory serves me right(which it rarely does

)the Royals hang it from the back due to etiquette rules. I hang it from the front however, much easier.

I hate letting it flop down the backside. My girlfriend thinks I'm somewhat anal about it, butt I think it's much easier to get a firm grip on it from the front.

Toilet paper should always hang over the top in the front of the roll so you don't have to search to find the end. If you notice TP commercials always show it hanging over the front and hotels do it this way as well.
Incidentally, I use 3 shells instead of toilet paper.
