Oops, I meant to write... Halloween
I am sitting around the house until my wife gets home from work. Then we are going to her cousin's house for a lil party. We went to a costume party on Saturday. I was dressed as a pimp. I love her side of the family because they have such a great sense of humor. One of the older ladies wanted a picture of me "selling" my wife to somebody... sick, but funny. But that was Saturday. Today, just a lil party.
    And You?

Leaving work to get a 2 teeth pulled. Gotta stop and get candy for the kiddies, then take a pain killer, mix it with beer-watch a horror movie until I fall asleep.
    Everyone be careful out there.

Ok Brad, 'Hollow'een is a pretty scary date innit, 'Hollow' man is first on list of films to watch followed by Sleepy 'Hollow', ok enough joshing about, tonite is when Sandra gets on her broom and flies about cackling like a witch, shit she's coming thru the door have to hide this, ladidadida, ok she's gone, so Halloween eh? Probably put our white robes on and go to our favorite haunt, the 'Witches Brew' round the corner, have a few beers than at midnight we join a few friends and go dancing naked round an old oak tree in the forest, and tie a yellow ribbon round it too.
Than finally we set fire to an effigy of Eric Scott whilst chanting and dancing like idiots.

I'm going to the Orpheum Theatre for a screening of the silent classic Nosferatu. The Vancouver Symphony orchestra will be playing the score, conducted by Gillian Anderson (not the one from X-Files).

I took advantage of some good pricing at Best Buy yesterday and picked up a few appropriately-themed movies...
    Evil Dead II - $14.99
Army Of Darkness: Bootleg Edition - $12.99
    The Howling - $8.99
    Blair Witch - $4.99
    Stigmata - $8.99
I Know What You Did Last Summer - $8.99
    Species - $8.99
...so I'm just going to hang out with Lisa, throw some candy at any kids who happen to show up and watch a few of the DVDs.

Not much. If I can't get my friend out to see Rocky Horror at Roxy tonight, I'm just gonna hang out here and watch my Halloween disc and make a few calls. Truth be told, the only thing I like about Halloween is John Carpenter's film of the same name. [IMG]

Watching horror dvd's all day long. This year kinda sucks because I usually get all dressed up as Micheal Myers, and stand of the porch and give out candy, i've done this for the past five years, but this year I have a cold, so I don't want to do it.
Jon, getting two teeth pulled huh? Well, Happy Halloween! [IMG]

I decorated my house and front yard with a whole lotta stuff: a 7-foot tall witch and an 8-foot tall wizard standing at a cauldron filled with body parts, a 9-foot tall executioner standing by a huge working guillotine (the blade is safe, I think), some headstones with a guy coming up out of the ground, a guy in an electric chair with sparks shooting out of his head, the Grim Reaper with a real scythe, a coffin with a skeleton in it, a clown from hell, a recreation of an exorcism scene, a little Phantasm-like creature, skull lights on sticks, and to top it all off, a 22-foot-long-legspan spider on the top of my house!
Unfortunately, I do not have a scanner or a digital camera, so you'll have to use your imaginations.

I'm hopefully going Trick or Treating with a few people. I don't know how much luck I'll have though, since I'm 20. But a poor college student needs to get food somehow.

An ex-girlfriend and I dressed up as Batman and Robin about 5 years ago (I was 20 then) and went trick-or-treating. I had to be robin since my ex was almost a foot taller than me. Boy I felt lame. But I did get candy and we made a bunch of people laugh. Editor's note: They were laughing at us not with us.
