    Got to feel for the owner, hopefully he had insurance so he can simply buy a new one and modify it like he did the first one.


    It will be interesting to see if this works for him since I can really see it going both ways. If the other items that were taken are worth anything I can see the thief or thieves simply destroying the Gibson so the one uniquely identifiable item is no more.


    The owner probably would have been better served letting the word spread throughout the music community to be on the lookout instead of the public option since he has now increased the chances that the Gibson will be destroyed.
