    does anyone know if this cop movie by william friedkin is ever coming out on dvd?

    It was on one of The Digital Bits release lists, but that's all I remember.
    So it is in the works.

    I think it's a tentative release on MGM's schedule for 2002. I can't wait and I hope Friedkin contributes to the release a fair amount.

    Maybe if The French Connection dvd does well, TLaDiL.A. will get released that much sooner. They'd make a great double-bill!

    I agree that participation by Friedkin is a must. Really liked his input on The Exorcist SE and am looking very forward to The French Connection.

    I do believe Friedkin confirmed early this year that it was in the works (for 2002) and he is involved...don't remember the source though, sorry.
