You’re looking at the Blu-ray link. Here’s the UHD link:I must be seeing a different pre-order as the link above shows $29.99 and doesn’t specify it’s a 4K UHD.

Ahh! Thank you! I didn’t read the link closely.
I recently became 4K capable (well actually my system has, you understand) and this is one I've been wanting to get if I found it at a good price, so I've pre-ordered. But since I've never paid any attention to the issue I know hardly anything about steelbooks. How big are these things compared to a standard plastic case, particularly in height?Currently a $13.99 preorder on Amazon, so no complaints about the price on this one. Amazon’s probably matching someone else.
Paul. Here’s a few of my discs for comparison.I recently became 4K capable (well actually my system has, you understand) and this is one I've been wanting to get if I found it at a good price, so I've pre-ordered. Thanks, exactly what I wanted to know.Paul. Here’s a few of my discs for comparison.
They are matching Barnes and Noble. If you are a B&N Premium Member you can get a 10% discount and free shipping on top of that ridiculous low price.Currently a $13.99 preorder on Amazon, so no complaints about the price on this one. Amazon’s probably matching someone else.
Ah, thanks. I don't have to give money to Amazon. They are matching Barnes and Noble.
The price in my Orders list is still $13.99, even though the site listing is now $29.99.Just had a very peculiar and annoying experience with Amazon. Several days ago I pre-ordered the To Catch a Thief 4k steelbook from Amazon. The price was $13.99. Couldn't pass that up. The next day the price had increased a "whopping" 78 cents to $14.77?? A peculiar price increase to be sure. Today I noticed in "My Orders" the price was increased back to $29.99! I was under the impression that a pre-order locked in the price. Does Amazon have any awareness of what they are doing??? Any one else out there experiencing similar Amazonian business practices??
My preordered disc is also still $13.99. If you have the email confirmation from Amazon from when you placed the order that would be proof that you purchased it when it was $13.99. You can then contact customer service for a price adjustment.Just had a very peculiar and annoying experience with Amazon. When you see a great price, you have to jump on it. Hell, I preordered it at that price point even though I already have the previous 4K/UHD release. "You snooze; you lose" That's the motto physical media consumers need to live by.I just checked Barnes and Noble website and they list the 4K Steelbook of TCAT at $29.99. Perhaps B&N had to change the pricing to reflect the true MSRP. So Amazon no longer had to match that. Still, you guys who pre-ordered looks like you got a great deal!
Yeah, it didn’t occur to me that this was a super deal. I was thinking I was glad to see a Steelbook and not the price. When you see a great price, you have to jump on it.
