Opened Saturday, and I took my dad to Last Jedi Sunday. They were supposed to open in Dec which is why the first two movies are old, they had rights and are showing them now with new ones coming soon.

Best theater experience I have ever had. The food and all that is cool, been there done that elsewhere. The chairs are outstanding, and the PQ and AQ was top notch. They are using a Rec 2020 laser projector, I assume Christie, and they give a demo video about 4K, DCI P3, 709 and 2020 in the middle of the trailers. Very cool to inform your customers, and I was in the smaller theater and counted what I thought to be 48 speakers, plus the subs (which you can really feel). They had 12 down each wall, and 24 over head at a down angle, which were all SLS Dolby speakers for an Atmos setup.

This theater will get me back in the game. Two tickets were $37, but the food was nicely priced as well as the drinks. Popcorn is free, they deliver it in a small bowl, but order as many bowls as you like. With the 7" ipad at your chair, you can get whatever you want on the menu whenever. Really like reserved seating too.

Go to a restaurant before or after the movie. Trying to eat a meal in the dark while watching a movie is not my thing. We have Cinetopia here in the Portland OR area and I do not order food (other than popcorn) because it's just too much of a hassle.

I've been to similar theaters when I visit my sister and I don't like people eating meals during movie showings because there's more noise and the food smells that take me out of the film at times. I love the seating though.

I think Cineplex does it the right way. You have to order before the trailers start and the food arrives before the main feature, so nothing is disrupting the film once it starts.

I've been to several different types. This one works well. The servers were never distracting and food smells lol didnt take me out of the movie.

As far as eating sounds, this baby was cranked and jamming and it wasn't an issue. What takes me out of a movie is sitting in a stinky AMC with 16 year old chatting and playing on their phones. AND, the movie is so quiet you can't even eat popcorn without pissing your neighbor off.

I had stopped going to local theaters the last two years because of all of that, and this experience was excellent. People try and lump to much without trying something out.

Now as far as eating in a theater, I dont plan on going there for dinner. I want popcorn, and beer. AMC tried to get beer here, but the bible thumpers freaked out. All the article comments and social media were "you are an alky if you can't go two hours without drinking" lol. Maybe I just want a couple of IPA's while I watch stuff blow up...
