I have the center channel and I'm impressed with it for what it cost. Never heard what comes with the set.
I just replaced the center last week. It can now 'keep up' (more power) with the mains. The AVSC is not as bright and seems to be perfectly matched to the mains.

I have the av-sc and it is very good. it is very smooth and not muffled. A great buy.
