Last week I was excited to see that my cable company (Time Warner) was offering TNT in HD. Problem is... The picture is stretched and everyone looks fat. The really wierd thing is that the TNT bug in the corner is still perfectly round. Which makes me thik that this is a problem at TNT's end. A shame since I was looking forward to seeing Salem's Lot in HD tonight. Maybe it was their programing? I was watching the Mummy earlier. You'd think they could have gotten it widescreen. Has anyone else noticed this?

From what I hear, for most of the shows they are just stretching and upconverting the standard broadcasts. However, special events like the Basketball playoffs, and I assume Salem's Lot will be in true HD.
