TIVO Series 3 -- Can it stream uncompressed audio? (1 Viewer)

I just recently started exploring some of the other features of my Tivo Series 3 DVR (you can now transfer shows to your PC and iPod), and noticed that music can be streamed. However, it appears that only the MP3 files in My Music folder are recognized. Does anyone know if wav or pcm files can be streamed?

Page 12 of the Home Media Features Guide says MP3 only. Even though it states that, I'd check at the Tivo Community. They have a section dedicated to the Home Media aspects of the Tivo. Someone may have added a patch to add an unsupported feature.

If you want lossless audio playback, the only thing I have found is the Logitech Squeezebox. It supports numerous lossless codecs.
