Tivo or Replay TV (1 Viewer)

I have attempted to audition
these in my area however none of
the dealers have them connected
to the service or a clue as to
their capabilities. Based on your
experience what do you believe
would be the best buy. Looking
for reliability, clarity, features
who may best be here for the
long haul. Thanks.

There's a specific forum area devoted to these types of devices. It's called "Personal Data Recorders". I'm pretty sure some of the old threads comparing Replay to TiVo have survived.
