Lots of discussion over at tivocommunity about the new HMO features that will now be included in every regular Tivo subscription. Some of those who paid for it feel ripped off. Tough luck, I say. [IMG]

I'm just happy we finally get it in the regular subscription, which is where it belonged all along IMO. The features could need some tweaking but for now I'm very happy about it. [IMG]

I was an early adopter of HMO, so I paid the $99. Not upset, though. That's just the way it goes. I use it mostly for remote programming.

"Home Media Option". A bundle of features that TiVo used to charge extra for but now includes with the service. They are:
    1. Networking of multiple TiVo units
    2. Digital photos
    3. Digital music
    4. Remote scheduling (if you're using a broadband connection to access the TiVo service)[/list=1]

I hooked mine up to take advantage the new and *free* features.

MP3 playing from my computer to my TiVo is great and definently beats using the X-Box for this same feature. Pretty nifty but not worth paying $100 for IMO. Just glad it's free!
