Listening to the Local Radio Broadcast(Now I'm wishing I had a regular TIVO, because they where mentioned and shown on Regis and Kelly again), and they mentioned a little Device called 'Tivo for Radio', or some such

Apparently, it hooks into the stereo somehow, and it can record up to about 4 hours of radio program. If I could get my hands on this gadget, I could completly do away with my VCR and go completly digital, because I wouldn't need it to tape my daily radio show.

Anyone here anything about this? Didn't know where to put this note, so I figure that this would be the best place.

What would be the legal difference between a Tivo for radio and MP3s? Wouldn't it open up a whole new can of worms in terms of copyright issues?

You can always run an analog cable from a tuner to your soundcard, use a program like winadr (formerly known as total recorder) to record any sound that comes through your sound card. Have it set to run at a certain time. It's timshifting, just like recording a TV show.

I've been wanting something like that, but for the car stereo. It awlays seems like a good song or an interesting topic of discussion starts right as I'm about to get out of the car, it would be nice to be able to just hit pause and pick up where I left off when I step back into the car again.

Of course, it would be nice to record a 4 hr block of music in the middle of the night so I could skip the commercials when I drive during the day too. :)

Now a simple question. Do any of these models have an RCA audio output to hook up to a PC Audio card? I like to make my own 'best of' CD's for the radio show I listen too :).
