The eXtended cut of TNW on HD on disc, drool!!!
Did you every visit the forum the studio had for SFoC?
There was a poster there that stole my heart & soul, ThongGirl, every time I think of this great movie I dream about her. She was delicious and so is the look of this film.
The opening scene was a torture test for SD DVD!

Blue Planet. The documentary series which I believe were shot using HD cameras and I have no doubt would look astounding. All the colorful underwater reefs, the dolphins, the schools of fish, everything.

Sin City would be one in my opinion. Shot digitally with CGI backgrounds, high contrast, deep black levels.
