I pulled Titanic out today. Near the end, the audio went out of sync. I dont remember this happening before. Anyone else have this problem? Ive put it in software, but could it be a temp hardware glitch?

    Devin,

that's a new one on me, i've watched this disc countless times with no problems. Has the disc played fine in the past?

AFAIK, it has always been ok, except for yesterday. I watched it for the first time in about a year. disc has allways been stored in the case, case in a rack. I may be leaning hardware prob, as Ive had cases of a couple of other brand new discs freezing up, and my player is about 3yrs old now.

    Devin,

I think you nailed the problem with your hardware call. If the player is that old the optical pick-up unit may be starting to show signs of failure.

In fact, this is proven pretty much positive by your last post, if new discs are freezing up and previously fine discs are suddenly going nuts on you, i'd say that's it.

That sounds like a problem of Titanic proportions. [IMG]
