Tips On Purchasing Projection TV (1 Viewer)

My friend needs help in purchasing a projection tv or a digital tv.

Can someone tell me:

What are the keywords I should look for in the specs to insure that my tv will be compatible with the digital standard in the future?

All I know right now is that I want it to support playback of anamorphic dvds.

Well, Johnny, look for specs that state the set can produce a 1080i and a 480p picture, among other things. Look for such phrases as "wideband component inputs" and "HD-upgradable"--that sort of stuff.
