Time to upgrade speakers any suggestons? (1 Viewer)

I currently have KLH speakers for my surround sound system, there all right for cheapies.Im running a Sony STR-DB930 receiver for power. I want to spend bewteen 800.00 to a 1000.00 for everything. Any suggestions would be helpful.

how large is your room? any constraints on speaker size? does this dollar figure incl a sub? are you willing to buy online? is this mainly for music or HT?

My Paradigms (4 Titans and a CC-170) cost me $600. My Yamaha YST-SW500 cost $350 (though I'm considering a new sub).
Can't beat the sound for the price.

Gotta 2nd the nOrh 4.0 rec. Stunningly good for the $$. The enclosure material and the externally mounted tweeter make a huge difference in clarity and imaging. Plus, you just can't beat 5 identical speakers for an immersive experience.
