It is now the 21st Century, so what is the point in continuing to call your studios, 20th Century Fox? Since you have a numerical name, it wouldn't be too difficult to bring it into the new age. Sure, logos on everything would have to be changed, but that's a given anyway. If you are keeping it 20th to mean the studios began in that time period, I can understand that. But it still sounds out-of-date nonetheless. The 21st Century is going to be a LONG time in running, so altering the company name is a good idea. Think about it.

And Universal needs to be "Galaxial" because "Universal" is too egotistical.

Warner Bros. needs to be "Warner Family" to be all-inclusive.

Paramount needs to be "The Mountain Company" because "Paramount" is too flashy.

New Line Cinema should be "Relatively New Line Cinema" since the company is older.

I thought they were going to drop the "20th Century" part of the name after the year 2000, but guess that didn't happen.

Probably because of a little something "brand identification."

If I remember correctly, it was Darryl Zanuck's 20th Century that took over Fox, hence the name we know now. It was a name.
