Well before I go and get the game for my PS2, I'm just wondering if it will work my Toshiba TW40X81? The PS2 is connected via component video cable so I know I'll need the little adapter. But will the light gun be able to work with the TV?

Good question, I have used many arcade machines that use light guns and RPT so I wouldn't see why not. It should work exactly like a tube TV.

It has been my experience that gun games will not work properly or at all with rp sets. At least with my Tosh 40x81 set.

With the exception of a couple of Dreamcast games with VGA support, light gun games do not work with line doublers.
The problem is not rear projection; the set must support 480i.
Hopefully Namco starts making XBox games, and a Guncon to go with it.

If any of you have seen the ScootPlex, which I live in, could you tell me if it will work with my TV? I would love to play the game on the big TV.
As well as Silent Hill 2 and ICO.
