Man, I didn't know he was sick, I caught the last few holes. That guy is just inhuman when it comes to golf.

As an avid golfer I watch a lot of golf on TV. I do get tired of watching Tiger dominate, and I'd like to see other golfers give him more of a challenge. But Jeez! When the guy is suffing from food poisining, barfs four times on the front nine, limps his way around the course because his back and legs are hurting so badly from the sickness - and still shoots 4 under in a driving rainstorm to sompletely outclass the competition, who were all healthy - the guy is just beyond amazing!!

If this doesn't psyche out the rest of the field on the PGA, nothing else will. It was like Tiger playing with one arm tied behind his back.

This will only add to the golfing exploits/legend of Tiger.

First Michael Jordan plays a classic game with the flu, and now Tiger wins while sick ... geeez, what are they feeding these people ... no pun intended [IMG] ...

Maybe I missed something during the presentation but Palmer did not appear to be too delighted with this record-breaking performance.

Then there's the story (included in 61*) about how Mickey Mantle hit a home run with only 1 hand on the bat.
These people are born with it. When they work at their chosen sport they reach levels that us mere mortals can only fantasize about (I hate them all !!) That's how you become known by only 1 name (Mike, Tiger, the Mick)

Pete Sampras once vomited his way to winning a US Open Championship final match a few years ago. These people have the right stuff even if they can't always keep it in them I'd say.
