I have a Panny 47 and when watching sports in HD, like basketball, the bottom is being cutoff, where they show the score and time remaining of the game.

What can I do to correct this?

    Thanks,
    Tim

It sounds like you have too much overscan. You should adjust accordingly.

(sorry, I'm not too familiar with RPTVs, so others will have to help as to how. Keohi is a good source of info, I'm sure theres info there on how to get into the service menu to adjust this (if this is not a normal adjustment).

TV guy is coming over tomorrow to correct the screen. Steve and I are on first name bases now. Due to my physical limitations, I can't tweak my set. Oh well, at least someone is making a buck [IMG]

I am assuming that it is just an adjustment. I will post an update later.

Thanks Admins for keeping this forum going!!

TV guy did his job and adjusted the overscan. It was at 5%-10% before. Now, its at ~2%. Finally, I can see the scores. Steve also did the convergence again for 1080I, 480I, 480P.

If anyone needs their TV service in Orange County, I highly recommend Adam's Electronics in HB.
