THX Ultra2 / SurroundEX question (1 Viewer)

I have an Integra 9.1U2 receiver with THX Ultra2. I'm confused about the issue of DD 6.1 soundtracks. I normally watch all movies that are 5.1 in "THX ULTRA 2". But for a 6.1 mix, do I need to manually switch to "THX SURROUND EX", or will it decode properly in ULTRA 2? I know not many DVD's are flagged, I'm just wondering if I can leave it in Ultra 2 all the time.

You should use THX-EX with 6.1 tracks, because THX ULTRA2 is used to make 7.1 out of 5.1 if turn on ULTRA2 with a 6.1 track it won't decode the extra surround channel and make it's own in place of it from the 5.1 track. So I believe it throws out the back surround from the 6.1 track then takes the remaining 5.1 track and makes 7.1 at least that's the impression I got from my receiver (see below) and the manual.
