Anyone else with the Monsters Inc. disk notice a nearly complete lack of bass during the THX trailer? At first I thought I was loosing my mind, but after throwing in my Toy Story 2 disc it was easy to tell that something wasn't right.

    I can explain why.

The THX trailer, Tex 2 Moo can, didn't have as much bass in the theaters. Its the same way on the old THX DVD and the new ultimate THX DVD. And its 5.1

The one on the Toy Story 2 DVD has been re-done in DD-EX. They added more bass and the "moos" sound different.

Thanks for that info. The trailer on the Toy Story 2 disc is much more impressive.
