When a DVD is marked as THX Certified does that mean I turn off or on THX processing on my amplifier?

    Cheers - Dave

FYI, the DVD Etc. section is dedicated to discussions with the editorial staff of stories and reviews that appear in the magazine. Here's where you want to ask this question. And also FYI, THX is a certification of certain standards in A/V presentation; it is not a processing technology.

No, you don't turn it off. THX discs do not usually incorporate any re-eq and usually need THX engaged. There are exceptions, From Hell being one I can think of since it was remixed by Mi Casa.
