Three Stooges shorts (1 Viewer)

Just did a search in this forum for this but nothing came up. Does anyone think we will ever see full volumes of Three Stooges shorts released? All I've ever seen are these "best of" discs with only a few episodes each. Are the masters for all the shorts just too degraded to be able to produce DVD sets for them all?

It's not a TV show, which is why you haven't seen it over on this board, I'm sure, because we've talked about Stooges shorts elsewhere here at HTF.

Columbia's attempt to colorize the shorts was a huge flop (thank goodness), so they're regrouping, probably. Another Stooges feature is being released on DVD this summer (THE THREE STOOGES MEET HERCULES, 1961, their best starring feature) and it's in B&W, so hopefully when future shorts collections are released, they will be, too. I have heard of no plans to release a "season" set (such as 1934-1935, etc.) for the Stooges.
