Hi. I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about if any of the remaining Three Stooges movies were going to be released on dvd

I think that these are owned by Columbia

    Three Stooges Meet Hercules 1962
    Have Rocket Will Travel 1959

Snow White and the Three Stooges 1961(I think owned by Fox)

Soup to Nuts 1930 (I think also by Fox)

Gold Raiders 1951 (unknown maybe United Artists?)

Rockin' in the Rockies 1945 (unknown maybe Columbia)

also, has there been any more talk of releasing more shorts, maybe in order?

Any help would be great as I am a huge fan of the Stooges
    -Mark

I would love to see a collection of the TS come out done right. I received The Three Stooges 75th Aniversary: Collector's Edition for Christmas.

    Disorder in the Court
    Brideless Groom
    Malice in the Palace
Sing a Song of Six Pants

Plus 8 classic color animated episodes
    -Bee my Honey
    -Litter Bear
    -Turnabout is Bearplay
    -Furry Fugitive
    -Curly's Bear
    -Bearfoot Bandit
    -Hair of the Bear
    -Watt's my Lion?

Interviews with Stooge's family & friends

They did a very poor job on it. The Interviews looked like they were done with a handy cam. The audio was terriable. The features picture was poor. They didn't even use nr to get rid of the noise! I have seen some 3S movies at walmart, but was afraid they would be just as bad.[IMG]

After getting four or five, I stopped buying Columbia's DVDs of the shorts. I think they're overpriced and I'm not wild about the "topics" format ("Stooges at Work," "Cops and Robbers", etc...)

I'd welcome the day that Columbia issues THE COMPLETE CURLY COLLECTION, THE COMPLETE SHEMP COLLECTION and yes, even THE COMPLETE JOE BESSER COLLECTION (or maybe they'd put Shemp and Joe in the same group).

I, too, am waiting for HAVE ROCKET WILL TRAVEL, but I have given up on Columbia - they have their own sycnopated time schedule for releasing catalog material.

Let's not forget the insult of the "colorized" shorts, which are WAY overpriced and feature almost all -- but of course, with a few original ones thrown in there -- shorts from earlier sets.

    AGH.

My Uncle who's a Stooge fanatic told me the shorts are owned by the heirs moreso than Columbia. Also said the heirs are not very liked in the Stooge community, as they handle rebroadcasting and redistribution poorly.
If this is true it might explain the shoddy treatment and overpriced DVDs.

Harold those list of shorts have been repackaged in more Stooges DVD sets & separate discs than I can count! My favorite discs are Spook Louder and Curly Classics.
